Welcome to the home of Cornwall's buses and trains. We're working together to deliver a transport network that's simple to use, great quality and even better value for money.

By coming together we're going to make Cornwall proud to take more and more green journeys.

Our journey together started back in 2015/16 and we've already made lots of improvements, with new buses, new trains, contactless payments, upgrades to waiting facilities, as well as information that's starting to be presented in a much more joined up way.

In 2022/23 we’ve introduced better value, simplified ticketing and capped payments for those using their payment cards or devices to ‘Tap & Cap’ for Day & Weekly tickets. We’ve also been pleased to promote HM Government’s single fare initiative and are delighted that this is being extended to provide great value single fares until December 2024.  There is much more to come in 2023/24 to make travelling by public transport easier for you, our passengers.

We're here for everyone.  Transport for Cornwall - it belongs to all of us.

Town zones offer great value all day, within a defined local area.

Getting around Cornwall by bus has never been easier.

Once you’ve found the ticket that suits you best you can use it on any bus in Cornwall no matter what colour it is, or who's driving it. Making our networks bigger, and the ticket prices even smaller.

At Transport for Cornwall we don’t just want to make it easy to get around the county, we want to make it great value too. We offer a range of tickets for bus travel, train journeys and bus and train combined. And remember you can use your bus tickets on any bus, on any route* across Cornwall – we’re one big bus network.

Great news!

Passengers will continue to benefit from the national £2 single fare scheme. The scheme has been in place since 1st January 2023 and will run until 31st December 2024. This initiative is funded by HM Government and forms part of the Help for Households campaign.

If you normally buy an adult Cornwall day or Cornwall week ticket, then we’ve got an easy, new way to pay.

ImageImage

Simply tap your payment card or device as you board, and again just before you get off. No matter how many bus journeys you make that day we’ll make sure you never pay more than you should.

Even better, once your days travelled add up to the weekly ticket, your fare will be capped no matter how much more you travel that week. You decide when your week starts, beginning with your very first tap, so it’s totally flexible.

With Tap & Cap there’s no need to pre-pay for your tickets, you don’t have to commit to the Cornwall week ticket up front, especially when your plans could change. All you need to do is turn up and start tapping.

*Any Bus, Any Route excludes Park & Ride and privately contracted journeys.
