Boscastle is a small harbour village on Cornwall’s north coast, set where two wooded valleys meet the sea.

Its narrow harbour entrance was once an important trading port and fishing harbour, with old quays, lime kilns, and warehouses still visible today. Around the harbour you’ll find pubs, cafés, and shops in historic buildings, with footpaths leading out to coastal viewpoints at Willapark and Penally Point. Nearby walks through the Valency Valley and along the South West Coast Path, plus its working harbour and literary links, make Boscastle a quiet but interesting place to explore.
