Coverack is a small fishing village on the Lizard Peninsula, set around a sheltered bay with a harbour and a mix of sand and pebble beach. It’s a quieter spot, popular for its coastal views, safe swimming and access to the South West Coast Path.
The village still has a working harbour and a handful of cafés and places to eat, with watersports like kayaking, sailing and diving available nearby. Just offshore, the Manacles reef is known for shipwrecks and marine life, making the area especially popular with divers and those exploring the coastline.
The beach is safe to swim from, but there are no lifeguards, so please keep an eye on children.
