The much-loved Looe Raft Race, hosted by the Looe Boat Owners Association alongside Looe RNLI, returns in 2026 on Sunday 21st June, with the first race kicking off at 11:30am.
The event starts from East Looe Beach, with crews setting off around the Banjo Pier before heading up the Looe River. There are fun races for both juniors and adults, as well as a longer, more challenging Elite Race. All races finish at the RNLI Slipway in East Looe.
Spectators can enjoy great views from several spots, including the Banjo Pier and East Looe Quayside, or across the river from Pennyland and West Looe Quay. Each offering excellent vantage points to watch the action.
Make the most of your visit by exploring the harbour, browsing local shops, or stopping by one of the many cafés, bars, and restaurants. Booking a table for lunch is recommended.
