A30 Overnight Closure Update 11/05/2026
We have unfortunately not recieved any further updates regarding to Crowlas Crossroads between St Erth and Newtown for tonight 11/05/2026.
As a result, after 20:00, services 17 and 18 will be unable to serve Varfell, Crowlas, Cockswells Lane, Whitecross, Canons Town, or Rose-an-grouse.
Service 17 will also be unable to serve Eastern Green and Long Rock, and will divert via Nancledra between Penzance and St Erth Station.
Service 18 will also be unable to serve St Erth Station and will divert via Leedstown between Long Rock and Hayle.
We expect this to be the case for the remainder of the road closure due to National Highways restrictions.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused due to circumstances beyond our control.
Emergency Closure - Crofthandy
Due to an emergency road closure on the road from Crofthandy bus shelter to St Day crossroads, services 40, 40A, 40B and 282 will be unable to serve Skyber Vean or Crofthandy Village Hall.
Service 40 and 282 will divert on the road past the stables between Carharrack and Crofthandy.
Service 40A and 40B will divert past Triplet Business Park between Crofthandy and St Day.

Stop Closed at Barncoose Terrace E-bound
Due to roadworks, the Eastbound bus stop at Barncoose Terrace is currently suspended.
Please use the temporary bus stop at Illogan Rounding Walls.

Overnight Road Closure - A30 St Erth to Newtown
Due to the overnight closure of the A30 between St Erth and Newtown,
- between 20:00 and 06:00
- on Monday to Friday nights
- from 27/04/2026 to 30/05/2026,
There will be a variety of diversions to services 17 and 18 in the evening. Closure sections are changing day by day, check daily messages on services 17 and 18 for updates.
Please expect potential delays to services due to the length of some of the diversion routes. On some nights we will not be able to serve any stops between Crowlas and St Erth Interchange.
