14, 18, 33, 34, 40, 49, 88, 315 - Major Disruption in Redruth - Pasty Festival - 10:30 to 17:00

Today 00:00 - 17:00

Due to road closures at Redruth Railway Station, with no access for buses, for Redruth Town Council events, between 10:30 and 17:00 on Saturday 12th September there will be diversions on all Redruth services.

Stops at Redruth Railway Station, Higher Fore Street, East End and Cemetery (E-bound) will be suspended between these times.

For services 14/18 to Camborne & Penzance / St Ives, 34 to Barncoose, 40 to Camborne, 49 to Troon, 88 to Newquay, 315 to Barncoose which normally serve the downhill stop at the railway station, please use the temporary stop on the corner of Heanton Terrace / Clinton Road by the church.

- These buses will divert via Sea View Terrace, Heanton Terrace, Treruffe Hill.
- Service 49 to Redruth will go around Southgate Street, Sandy Lane and St Day Road to get to Sea View Terrace.

For service 33 to Barncoose please use the temporary stop opposite the church outside the old Library on Clinton Road. Service 33 to Barncoose will divert on Treruffe Hill.

For service 14/18 to Truro, 33 to Falmouth, 34 to The Lizard, 40 to Truro which normally serve the uphill stop opposite the railway station, please use the bus stop opposite the old library and Redruth Meadery on Clinton Road.

- Service 14/18/40 to Truro will divert via Treruffe Hill, Clinton Road, Southgate St, Sandy Lane and will be unable to serve East End or Redruth Cemetery
- Service 33 to Falmouth will divert on Treruffe Hill and cannot serve Heanton Terrace
- Service 34 to The Lizard will will divert via Treruffe Hill, Clinton Road and will be unable to serve Redruth Cemetery, Sandy Lane, or Southgate Street

Service 315 to St Agnes will divert via Drump Road. Your closest alternative stops are Redruth Tesco or top of East End.

Road Closure - Boscawen Street and Lemon Street, Truro

7th Sep 2026 - 6th Nov 2026

Due to the closure of Boscawen Street and lower Lemon Street, from 07/09/2026 to 06/11/2026 services will be unable to serve stops at Boscawen Street or Conservative Club towards Truro.

Buses and City Services normally serving Boscawen Street will divert via St Clement Street in both directions.

Buses normally serving Conservative Club will divert via Fairmantle Street towards Truro.

Services 495 and 497 leaving Lemon Quay towards Haven House will divert via Fairmantle Street.

Changes to routes towards Newquay Bus Station from 4th September

27th Aug 2026 - 31st Mar 2027

Due to the implementation of a one-way system on Cliff Road in Newquay, services towards Newquay will be on diversion from the 4th September 2026.

Buses leaving Newquay are unaffected.

Buses will be unable to serve the stop at Newquay Railway Station or Tolcarne Beach (towards Newquay).

Your closest alternative stops are on Mount Wise or at Kilbirnie Hotel / opposite Barrowfield Hotel

Services 59, 85, 87, 88, 93, 277 towards Newquay Bus Station will additionally be unable to serve stops at Trenance Gardens, Newquay Zoo, Hilgrove Road or Barrowfield Hotel

To travel into Newquay from these stops, please use the stop on the other side of the road and use diverted services 21, 21A, 56, 91, 92, 92A, 92B, 92S, 93A, 93T

Buses will divert via Trenance Road.

Please be aware that this may be subject to delays for buses coming in & out of Newquay Bus Station.

21, 21A, 22, 22A, 27, 28, 31, 51, - Changes to routes in St Austell from 22nd June

22nd Jun 2026 onwards

From the 22nd June 2026, Trinity Street in St Austell is becoming a one-way system for 18 months due to a large scaffolding setup on the side of the White River Shopping Centre.

As a result, there will be changes to services 21, 21A, 22, 22A, 27, 51 towards St Austell.

The bus stops towards St Austell Bus Station at Four Turnings and White River Cinema (cinema side of the road) will not be served. Buses towards St Austell will divert via Penwinnick Road and South Street.

Passengers wishing to travel to the town centre from Four Turnings should use the bus stop at St Austell Milestone, which will continue to be served by the 27 and 51 towards St Austell.

Passengers wishing to travel towards the town centre should instead alight at South Street.

Buses leaving St Austell Bus Station towards Truro, Newquay, or Veryan are unaffected by the one-way system and will continue to operate their normal route stopping opposite White River Cinema and Four Turnings.

As well as this, services 28 and 31 leaving St Austell towards Lostwithiel or Luxulyan will start at South Street instead of White River Cinema.

Low hanging branches within Allet affecting service 85

30th Aug 2026 onwards

We are sorry to inform you that due to low hanging branches we are unable to use the the Allet cuthrough road. Instead buses shall divert via the B3284 in both directions. The stops called Springfield Farm within Allet cannot be served and instead your nearest stop shall be Allet Five Acres. We apologise for any inconvenience caused but this issue is out of our control.

Reduced service on the 91
