At Go Cornwall Bus we are pleased to be able to offer discounts to children and families.

It’s really important that we ensure that only those who are entitled to the discounts are using them. This helps us protect children from having to pay more in the future, which we know is important to you.

How will verification work?

To activate a child ticket, the user must be verified. When viewing tickets available to purchase, those that require you to be verified are highlighted by an orange banner stating, ‘Verification Required’. To verity a person's age, you can use the following ID examples: birth certificate, passport, citizen card.

The verification is normally complete within 48 hours, but at busier times, may take longer.

The good news is this is a one-off check – once verified, you can generally continue buying child tickets without needed to do it again.
