      UPDATE: This closure has now unexpectedly moved to overnight works, 19:00 - 07:00 each night, and extended until the 20th October.

      Due to a National Grid road closure on Greenmarket, between 19:00 - 07:00 each night from 12/10/2026 to 20/10/2026 services 1, 1A, 4, 4A, 6, 8, 16 will be unable to serve Market Jew Street or the Greenmarket in both directions.

      - Service 6 will also be unable to serve West Cornwall Hospital.
      - Service 1A will also be unable to serve Alexandra Road.
      - Services 1, 1A and 6 will also be unable to serve First & Last and Bellair Health Centre. These stops will be served by diverted servies 4, 4A, 8, 16.

      Buses will divert on the promenade and Alexandra Road.

      Please use stops at:
      - Penzance Bus Station (all services)
      - Alverton Road YMCA (1, 6)
      - Penalverne Drive (4, 4A, 8, 16).

      Buses normally serving Conservative Club will divert via Fairmantle Street towards Truro.
